Cumbernauld didn’t have a multidisciplinary community arts space—so we decided to create the kind of place we wanted to be part of.

We dreamed of a welcoming, creative hub right here in our town. So when we came across an old bookmakers, we saw potential where others might have walked on by. Armed with a big vision (and even bigger determination), we rolled up our sleeves and got to work.

There was a lot of cleaning, scrubbing, and painting—more than we expected—but bit by bit, our idea began to take shape. With generous support from the community and a whole lot of DIY, we started transforming the space into something special: a place for creativity, collaboration, and connection.
